Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 June 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Velo platform, websites, applications and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, completing onboarding, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Velo provides restaurants and food-service businesses ("Merchants") with software for digital menus, QR pay-at-table, order-and-pay, payment links, tipping, reviews, settlements, reconciliation and analytics. Card payments are processed by a regulated payment partner; Velo does not store full card numbers.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of your business. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during onboarding (KYC/KYB), for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account.

3. Merchant obligations

Merchants must sell only lawful goods and services, honour the prices and descriptions displayed to customers, comply with applicable consumer-protection, tax and food-safety laws, and maintain accurate menu, pricing and policy information.

4. Payments, fees & settlement

Platform fees are presented on our Pricing page and/or your commercial agreement. Transaction proceeds, less applicable fees and refunds, are settled to the bank account you verify during onboarding. You authorise us and our payment partner to debit fees and to reverse amounts relating to refunds, chargebacks and disputes.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its security, process payments for prohibited or fraudulent activity, or use it to violate any law or card-scheme rule.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and trademarks, is owned by Velo or its licensors. You retain ownership of your own content (menus, logos, images) and grant us a limited licence to host and display it to operate the Service.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk or compliance reasons, or where required by law or our payment partners.

9. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, unless your commercial agreement specifies otherwise. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@velopay.app.
