Refund Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for payments processed through Velo.

1. Restaurant orders & payments

For food and beverage orders, the restaurant (Merchant) is the seller and is responsible for its refund decisions in line with consumer-protection law. If an order is incorrect, not delivered, or cancelled before preparation, you may request a refund from the restaurant; approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method.

2. How refunds are issued

Refunds are returned to the original card or payment method used. Once approved, the refund is initiated immediately and typically appears within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

3. Partial refunds & tips

Partial refunds are supported where only part of an order is affected. Tips may be refunded together with the related item at the restaurant's discretion.

4. Platform subscription fees

Merchant subscription or platform fees paid to Velo are governed by your commercial agreement. Unless required by law, recurring fees already incurred are non-refundable, but you may cancel future renewals per our Cancellation Policy.

5. How to request a refund

Contact the restaurant directly for order refunds, or reach support@velopay.app for help with a transaction. Please include the receipt or transaction reference.
